Our Story
inSPAration began in 1975 with a simple idea: bring the power of aromatherapy to the water. We were the very first aromatherapy on the market for the pool, spa and hydrotherapy world, and we still develop every one of our proprietary blends in Southern California.
In 1990, our family, led by Lori, purchased the company and set out to reformulate and grow the brand. With a commitment to quality, innovation and our partners, we pioneered water-soluble aromatherapy for pools, spas and baths, always with one goal in mind: the ultimate pool, spa and bath experience for every user.

inSPAration has always been a family business. Today, four generations are involved in our day-to-day operations, so you can be assured the company will be in good hands for decades to come. Our hands-on approach keeps us true to our values: quality products, strong relationships and a genuine passion for helping people relax.
Made in Southern California
We develop our proprietary blends and manufacture our products in Moorpark, California. Tested and proven by DuPont and Aristech Chemical, our formulas are completely water soluble and safe for every pool, spa and bath, including filters, acrylics, pumps and jets. They won’t change water color or affect water chemistry, and every blend contains moisturizers, vitamins and natural extracts for a truly therapeutic soak.
